michael is an english artist born in london and now based in devon

artwork shown here reflects a collection of current work on landscapes in dartmoor and a recent series of landscapes with mimosas through the seasons.

there are separate galleries on figurative paintings and sculptures, with a recent sundial piece and work from time at st martin's college.

often it is just about trying to capture moments and holding on to them. developing ideas and trying different ways of seeing. if you can get absorbed into it you can lose a little time and perhaps move somewhere else.

work has not been widely shown. whilst some works remain in the artist's collection, many are in private collections.
